Security as Craft

Our studio philosophy dictates that every digital structure must be as secure as it is beautiful. This is the anatomical breakdown of how your data travels through our London studio workflows.

Processing and Purpose

Data processing at pixelhatch is limited to specific, lawful bases. We rely primarily on the necessity of processing to enter into or perform a contract with you. When you submit a project inquiry, we use that data to calculate feasibility, estimate budgets starting from our minimum threshold of £10,000, and ensure our studio capacity aligns with your delivery cycle.

We utilize a curated stack of third-party tools to manage our operations. This includes CRM systems for client management and professional email hosting. Each partner is vetted for GDPR compliance and data residency requirements, ensuring that the "porcelain" clarity of our internal standards extends to every external touchpoint.

The Retention Protocol

Data is not permanent. We retain project inquiries for 12 months if no contract is initiated. For active clients, data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 6 years to satisfy UK statutory tax and legal obligations. Once this period expires, data is purged using cryptographic erasure methods.

Status: Strictly Enforced

Your Sovereignty

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you hold specific rights over your information. These are not features; they are inherent rights.

  • Right to Access

Request a digital transcript of all personal data held by pixelhatch within 30 days of inquiry.

  • Right to Erasure

Request the total deletion of your records from our active and backup server environments, provided there are no overriding legal obligations.

  • Right to Rectification

Correct any inaccuracies in your project history or communication records immediately.
